Hi, I alwas struggle with this bit (excuse the bad punctuation). I'm 19 and have a beautiful daughter (madam) and baby boy on the way.
I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil and really got into art at school when my wonderful GCSE teacher helped me focus my skill with blending and skin tone and didn't shun me for doing alternative drawings against the flow of the rest of the class. I love drawing the human figure and have a fascination with anatomy. I take influence from atists such as Jenny Saville, Egon Schiele, Lucian Freud and Rober Rauschenberg and love to learn from their techniques.
I am quite alternative and love my pictures to give the audience a shock and strong reaction. I love making my art individualistic and putting my own life experinces into each picture I do and I believe its really important to do that as then the picture is more personal to me and tells a story about my life.
After having my daughter I sort of lost all my hobbies, art included, so I am now on a mission to get my confidence back and start drawing again :)
